Pointless
Without a accompanying pdf or document to show the many figures and diagrams referenced this is pointless in audiobook format…

Howie Long, the author, should stick to punditry! He isn’t a great author and they made a mistake by choosing him to write it.
The narrator isn’t too bad, but is working with a bad book. Sadly, the “for dummies” organisation haven’t supplied any way to see the frequent diagrams referenced in the book, meaning you don’t see what they’re talking about.
I bought this book as a Brit who wanted to learn about American Football, having no real experience of it. The terrible writing has made me pity Americans who are stuck with this as their national sport. It feels like rugby for dumb people who can’t think on their feet but need pauses to think things through.
This book could have been so much more but was badly written. I’d suggest you don’t purchase this to learn about this game. It’s more like a handbook for fans, rather than a learning guide “for dummies” like me.
