Five years ago, Zeph met River. The timing couldn’t have been worse. Loved this book in audio, The characters and emotion connected even more deeply with the wonderful narration. Loved the non-binary rep. Great story, hot sex scenes. Highly recommend.

I really like stories about Drag Queens and fighters, there’s something so very interesting about both things. I liked the chemistry between River and Zeph. I thought Joel Leslie narrated this so well, I enjoy his voice and the way he changes voice for characters. He narrates at a great, easy to listen to pace. I thought the story about River and Zeph was interesting and they were hot and sexy. A totally great listen that I definitely recommend.

I loved Rivers authenticity. River is genuine and unashamed of themselves and understands that's not for everyone and that's okay. River just longs to be loved.

I felt both these characters had very complex and hard lives and backstories and their pasts shaped the persons they are now but they've both held pain, anger and resentment for so long it's hard to see past it to the love that's right in front of you. I loved the development of this story and they way these two worked together was wonderful. there chemistry was off the charts and I'm glad there was so much more than just a spark. these two belong together!!!
I'm loving this series and can't wait to read the rest!!

This series is well beyond what I hoped for. The characters are unique and the situations so out of the norm that they don’t seem like they could work but they are amazing I loved every second of this book and I know this is an author I need more of. Love this book

This was a great story. River and Zeph really clashed at times but they had hot as fire chemistry between them. I thought my phone might explode from the heat when it got near to the end of the book! 🔥

I always love Joel Leslie’s audiobook performances; he never disappoints. I hope more books in this series will come to audio.

This is a brilliant book and I enjoyed following River after meeting him in Flaunt. Zeph and River reconnect after five years their chemistry between them leads to some steamy scenes.

Really wonderful story. Great and deep characters, great plot and beautifully written. River was an interesting side character in book 1 and I'm happy we got to know him better and learn his story in this book.Him and Zeph were beautiful together . They had to work hard to get to their happy ending but I loved reading about their journey. The narrator was brilliant too

After the first book I really wanted Rivers story. It was better than expected however I missed some of the characters from book 1. I know we will see more of them coming in the series but hope that River and Zeph don't get lost and we see more of them.

Narration was on point and kept me engaged.

I love Eds books and this series is no exception. Great book, well narrated by Joel. All round good read.

Second book in the F-Word series. River (enby, occasionally drag queen) and Zeph's (hot MMA fighter) chemistry is off the charts and though both characters have a history of past hurts, the book never gets too heavy or angsty.
I love River's fierceness, and Zeph (though he sometimes acts badly out of fear) is strong, unafraid of who he loves and, in the end, willing to work on himself.
