About this listen
A Mythical Paradox
When a giant fox terrorises the city of Thebes, a skeptical wanderer decides to help out so that the Regent can pay for his adventures in gold. But will he manage to catch the uncatchable beast, when the only man who knows anything is a grumpy old man who transforms people that bother him, when the Oracle tells of his involvement - despite Tryx not believing in such things - and when the dead bodies keep piling up with every passing day?
This story is based on the myth of the Teumessian Fox and the Laelaps Dog.

If the quest is glorious enough...
This short story, told in classic fairy story style, is apparently based on the myth of the Teumessian Fox and the Laelaps Dog, of which I was previously unaware. Although initially intrigued and drawn in by the opening chapter, this reader personally found the tale rather tedious and unfulfilling despite the Saoulidis humour and marvellous power of instant characterisation.
Narration by Harper A Landis was good, clear and well intoned.
Just not my cup of tea

All that in one hour!
Don’t ask me how but George Saoulidis the author is a master when it comes to being able to compress stories and still outcomes with perfection, it’s a talent that I’ve only seen with only one more author, there might be more but I haven’t got across any.
The book itself is also new to me, it’s a riddle, a question, an answer, chaos theory, adventure and relationships.
In short a whole lot in such a short story.
Spot on narration by Harper Q. Landis who have got everyone’s voice exactly right, male or female never missing a Q.
Recommended for people who like short stories, excellent while driving to work being stuck in traffic or right before going to sleep.
In exchange for an honest review I’ve received this audiobook.
