I've never listened to a book like this before, a collection of completely unrelated, very short stories, but I was intrigued by this one & I was not disappointed! It was so fun to listen to all these random stories, I didn't identify a specific morale to them or anything, they're just stories and good ones at that. They're all well written, the scene is set in my mind for each one, the dialogue is easy to follow and sounds like a proper conversation. Honestly I would absolutely recommend spending an hour of your life on this book.
The narrator...! Honestly THE best male narrator I've come across so far! It was like James McAvoy in Split, the way he changed so easily into each character, from a drunk middle aged man, to a very young girl was just incredible! And not in the least bit cringe in any way, he just did it so well. I will absolutely be looking for more books with Adam Schulmeric as the narrator, just loved listening to him, brilliant voice actor!
