About this listen

It's been so long, Warrior . . . I can feel you . . .

Is Idina Moorfield going crazy or has an ancient magic found its source?

Her family says she's not a true Moorfield and will never be good enough for the family business. Sometimes what looks like the worst day ever is the beginning of our best adventure.

Idina takes that first step into a new life and gets the hell away from them to forge her own future.

But her calling is the one thing they are the most against. She joins the military just like Uncle Rick. The other family outcast.

What is everyone in the Moorfield family so afraid of?

A new Warrior is about to find out the true roots of the Moorfield name. Nothing will ever be the same.

Great start to a fantastic series.

The story does start slow as we get to know Idina and her powers - this isn't a straight into action series. It's a build up to what's to come in the series. I have read all the books released so far and can confirm they are simply amazing.

I was hooked on the series right from the first page.

Narration was really good too

Love it

Great start to a great series. Idina has so much to learn! The narration was good, I liked the narrator. I’ve read the book and loved it. I find that there is often passages that I haven’t remembered from reading.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Fabulous lead character, the misfit teen of a powerful family who has strange gifts joins the army to escape their influence. Slow build up which works i like books that take there time giving a detailed backstory. Narration is excellent easy to listen to but giving the characters life.

What a great start to a series
