I loved the queen’s point of view a lot even though she is supposed to be evil I loved seeing the development of her rebellion against the king. I also really enjoyed seeing our MFC becoming stronger and more independent and the steady development of her relationship with Rip! Can’t wait to see what’s next…

Compared to the first book this one is great, a much more gripping and interesting storyline with the introduction of some great new characters and growth of existing ones. Looking forward to listening to book 3.

Although I overall enjoyed this second book it didn’t grasp me as much as the first book did. I kept expecting more to happen & I really wanted the romance / friendship with the 2 MC’s to develop more! Maybe I’m being inpatient & it’s leading the story into the next few books! I also really didn’t care for the queens pov or the narrators at all! But I will still continue onto the next book!

I think I'm the only one that like Book 1 better than this book. I just did not like the pacing, nothing really happened in this book. I hope the pacing of the next book is better because i got frustrated with this book.
