Summary
A new town. A new bar. A new life.
At least, that’s what I’m hoping for.
I moved to Denver to try to piece my family back together, but I have no idea how to do that. Then the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen walks into my bar, and I think things are looking up. She needs a fake boyfriend for the night, and I’m all too eager to play along. But when the sun rises, reality settles in, and I know I want more. Only I don’t think she’s ready for what I have to give.
I want to be more than a good time, but I know what I’m good for. I need control. And she’s far too innocent. But when something happens that changes the rules, we’ll have to make a choice quickly, or we could lose everything before it even starts.

Great series starter!
Lovely start of a series. First, let me say that I loved that both MCs had big families. The scene with all the siblings in the bar is hilarious. Heath and Devney start off as a fake couple, but they have chemistry in heaps. I enjoyed every minute of this short novel. Not much angst, just sweetness, family, a bit of humor and sexy times. The narration is flawless.

Devney and Heath!
Devney comes from a large and loving family who are determined to protect which leads them to Heath’s pub as they believe he broke her heart. When Devney arrives shortly thereafter, she is mortified and surprises when he pretends to be her boyfriend even if they had only met once before.
Heath had a difficult upbringing and he and his brothers are happy to have reunited with his sister. When Devney’s family arrive, he isn’t sure what to make of the situation but the one thing he does know is he wants to protect her, and it isn’t long before they realize that their feelings for each other are very real.
Heath’s unresolved feelings about the past causes a little setback but with the help of his siblings he realizes that the past doesn’t have to predict the future. Through the narrators you will feel the depth of the relationships they have both with each other and their families and it is a wonderful beginning to a new series.

Incredible start to a series
Fake relationship, huge family and brilliant heat that suits the storyline. I found this to be wonderful listen with the narrators giving so much more depth and emotion to this story. This is a series that I know will have me desperate for the rest of it, so many of the side characters are already well developed and having me hoping their books will be next.
Don’t miss out on this series it’s going to be amazing.

4.5 stars
Buckle up for the debut novel, Good Time Boyfriend, in the 'First Time' series by Carrie Ann Ryan.
We met Heath Cassidy, our MMC, when his sister Greer found her HEA in Best Friend Temptation and pretty much fell in love with him then.
My 'insta love' is duplicated by both Heath and Devney when they see each other across a crowded bar, although they don't see each other for some time afterwards.
When they eventually meet again, we discover that the story of Devney and Heath is simply amazing.
Heath is alternately sweet and spicy and Devney blossoms under his very handsome wing.
Not everything is plain sailing but the twists and turns make this novel a great start to a brand new series.

Loved this book!
Good Time Boyfriend was a fun and entertaining listen. I was hooked right from the start and it kept my interest throughout. Devney and Heath were both very lovable characters and I was cheering them on to get it all figured out. A wonderful start to a new series!
Devney is one of 11 children - right in the middle and I loved the chaos that was her family! They loved her so much and were so supportive but also overbearing. Devney and Heath's relationship started with him stepping in to save the day for Devney with her siblings. They had an instant connection and fell into easily into building a friendship/relationship. Heath was a sweetheart although he did have some moments of confusion. It was understandable though with what he experienced growing up with his parents. It has definitely affected all of the Cassidy brothers and Greer in a big way. Overall, this was fun, flirty, and a listen that had me smiling from start to finish. Looking forward to what's to come in this series. These Cassidy brothers have me intrigued.
Narrated by Emma Wilder and Teddy Hamilton - these two are among my favorite narrators and they did an exceptional job with Heath and Devney. I think this may be my first listen with them together and thought they paired together nicely.

Fantastic
Book 1 in brand new series by Carrie Ann Ryan.
Heath is part of very odd family situation with his mum and dad divorcing multiple times but also separating the kids like parent trap until all of them were old enough to stop them.
Devney has many siblings and all are very concerned over her single status so she makes up a relationship with Heat who she’s only met once.
When her siblings confront Heath at his bar he tells them they are dating which they aren’t but starts off a beautiful love story.
As always Carrie Ann Ryan chose the best narrators for her books and this is no different. Teddy Hamilton has a lovely smooth tone and beautiful Emma Wilder voice complimenting it.
Looking forward to hearing more about this series and the family and friends of Heath and Devney.

when a really nice guy finds a really nice woman - the fireworks rival Firework night!
I cannot tell you how much I thoroughly enjoyed Heath and Devney's story came out of left field and I was with them every step of the way until they found their hea.
Heath is such a nice guy - of course he is he's a Cassidy! And Devney is one of 11 children...yep that's up there with the Montgomery's - but even in her family she's the odd one out but that doesn't mean that her family don't have her back.....and that's how this all started - her 5 older siblings walk into Heath's bar and all heck breaks loose. Loved It so much. Bring on more and more please.
