I would definitely recommend this book. wonderfully written by Gail Ward Olmsted and beautifully narrated by Gina Rogers. It made me smile, made me cry and left me wanting more by Gail. Looking forward to her next book Second Guessing

This was an easy listen with enough ups and downs to make you wonder what next. Very unexpected ending. I really liked following Jill and James through their rollercoaster life.

This is a good story, the characters are sometimes lovable and other times they make you shake your head at their antics.

The narration was good and easy to follow.

Easy to listen to story with enough going on to keep you invested. Not quite the plain sailing romance that you would think but certainly a realistic one. Will definitely read/listen to more from this author

A roller coaster ride of emotions. I likes that this story are from Jill’s pov who are the girlfriend/wife and not from the Rockstars pov.
All the up and downs with a relationship.

The narrator Gina Rogers did a good job, I hope she does the second book as well.

New author Gail Ward Olmsted, looking forward to you other books.

This is my first book by this author, but it won't be my last. I loved it and didn't want to stop listening. I loved the flow of the story and the way the author writes. This is a story spanning twenty years, It's a love story with a rock n roll background. It tells how James, a singer in a rock band and Jill first met and how, after spending a few nights together, his band leaves and she doesn't expect to hear from him again. But after a couple of weeks, he reaches out and asks her to go on the road with them.

Jill is in her early twenties and working at a local motel in a dead-end town, so she accepts his offer.. Their story has lots of ups and downs, some good times and bad times, but through it all, their connection strengthens. No more spoilers from me, download it and listen for yourself- you won't be disappointed.

The narration by Gina Rogers is very well done; she infused the characters with their own personality and brought them to life so well.

Gina Rogers is perfect narrator for this book. I thought she bought the characters to life.

Ok this book got me , and the ending hmm completely sucker punched me...

We find Jill who is a strong idependant woman working the front desk of a motel. Where famous rock star James comes in for change for cigarettes. That is the start of many more nights. James asks her to come on tour with him and Jill says yes. At first it was going to be for a few days and than she decided she needs him in her life.
Going on tour with James Jill finds her world changes. Jill knew life on the road with James and his band would not be easy and would be filled with many ups and downs. At times James really acted like a rock star and was horrible towards her but she still loved him.
