About this listen

Depression is one of the most common forms of psychological distress, with over 280 million people around the world estimated to be living with depression. While depression is extremely common, the good news is it's also extremely treatable. Based on Dr Tim Sharp's three decades of knowledge and experience, Habits for Mastering Depression is a 10-step program to guide your journey to understanding, managing and mastering your depression.

Covering proven treatments and strategies, such as cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, this is a practical, realistic and habit-forming approach that will help you to both counteract depression and start to flourish.

Dr Tim Sharp is a clinical and consulting psychologist with three degrees in psychology and a distinguished career over several decades. He's Australia's very own 'Dr Happy' and the founder of The Happiness Institute.

How to beat depression

I recommend this book, why it’s because the guy put into 10 steps
and it’s manageable..

Very knowledgeable too what depression is and how to get through it, I suffer mild fatigue & s.a.d, I like the bit about your thoughts.. think about a bus and choose to get on that bus or not like thoughts, another bus comes along soon & setting goals, I set small goals which are manageable even if just going have a shave, it’s small goal but now complete
If your like me, need help on how to beat depression, invest in yourself in the audio book and help motivate & change your life
