Missed the point

I was expecting a book that's descriptive of hacking techniques/maybe have some good stories.

I would hope one does not expect one to get an audiobook in order to actually try to type commands dictated in the book, not to say that most of the examples given are most likely too precise to stand the test of time (i.e., they'll have been patched long ago).
