How to survive when the god of war wants to destroy you and everyone you've ever met? Probably hide, really really well. What did I do? I worry a little that the power creep will be a bad thing, but hopefully the author keeps it in check.
the story remains simple and engaging, so if you had fun with book 1 you will continue to do so.
Chris remains one of the gems of this audiobook and I couldn't imagine the series without him.
he breathes life into the characters in a way even skilled authors struggle with and it takes the series higher than it could on it's own

Particularly liked some of the twists and evolutions and how they gain a Innovative population.
Somewhere about the 4.5 overall i think and this is light on the harem element still but a little heavier on the stats.
I requested this audio and have decided to leave my thoughts on this for everyone.
