Summary
Dear goddess,
For the love of all things dark and hairy, did you really have to mate me with a vampire? Seriously? This moon season before Halloween sucks enough as is. My hormones are off the charts, my urges are driving me crazy, and my wolf wants to shift every other minute.
My found-pack of two mystery shifters, a grumpy fairy, a kind witch, and her ghost husband have all been trying to keep the supes of New Orleans safe. You'd think that'd give me some sort of pass, but no. What do I get for being a good guy? A prim vampire who's setting off every nesting instinct.
For the love....I'm buying expensive pillows, and walking around saying things like 'MINE!'
Not cool, goddess. Not. Cool.
Fix it, please.
Sincerely,
A disgruntled wolf shifter.

Short and sweet with high heat
This supernatural novella is a cute little tale with high heat, primarily focussing on a wolf shifter and a vampire in New Orleans.
I enjoyed the characters of Lazare and Remy, as well as other supernatural supporting characters. Particularly entertaining was a grumpy fairy.
Kelly Fox also shined in bringing lightheartedness to nesting behaviour; I couldn’t resist giggling along. As always, she strongly creates a found family that you can’t help but want to share more adventures with.
Blake Lockheart has a low, growls voice perfect for a wolf shifter. His French speaking was music to my Anglophone ears.

Paranormal for the win
Story: Great short paranormal story. Set in a beautiful area, the story brings a hot mating story of a wolf shifter and a vampire, but plenty more paranormal creatures appear in it. Loved the idea for the story and the writing style, with wit and humor. Just up my alley.
Performance: It's not easy to narrate a story like this, with so many characters, but Blake Lockheart did a great job. The narration is clear and with the right amount of acting to enhance the story.
