Flicka and Dieter are a marvellous pair, authentic, classy, intelligent, competent, and intricate; they were the perfect couple. Throughout, their behaviour and reaction were consistent with who they were; while demonstrating a steady growth. In Happily Ever After, their epic journey concluded in a way that left me completely satisfied. The storyline was a nail-biter, especially at the very start. I was a little worried, considering the ending of the fourth book. There a couple of fantastic plot twists that I never even guessed would come. All in all, I had a blast listening to this series, and I'm sad it's come to an end.
Honestly, I couldn't imagine any other narrators performing Flicka's story. Jason Clarke and Lucy Rivers are true voice artists. They slipped into the characters, emulating their personalities and emotions, providing the listener with the right amount of inflexion. To wrap it up, Happily Ever After was one of the best conclusions to a series. Everything came together and wrapped up smoothly, leaving you feeling contented.

Wow, shocks & surprises were in store for our characters, to the last, in this conclusion of Flicka & Dieter's story.😱 Flicka & her step daughter are now in Monaco with Pierre. She hates being anywhere near him after what he did to her. He completely dismisses their divorce & her new marriage. Flicka fears that Dieter didn't survive the Bratva!😭 She *must* protect his child.🙏💞
This was an incredibly intense book. It clipped all of the storyline threads off beautifully but with one gaping hole, in a side story, for a future character to walk through!😉💥👑 The narration was perfection, by the male. I found the female talked too fast, it sounded like I was listening on 1.5 or 2!😕🎧 This is an incredible series whether you read it or listen, but I really enjoyed losing myself in the audiobooks!😍🎧

Full of unexpected twists and turns with all the drama we have come to expect from Blair Babylon. I was really pleased there was no cliffhanger at the end, and that the story reaches its conclusion.... And what a conclusion!!!
Definitely get the earlier books in the Flivka series first to get the most out of this... You won't regret it, but prepare to end up sitting in your drive in the car after getting home so that you can listen to just a few more minutes of this!!
