About this listen
Hawk's Call - Bad Boy Series: Book One
Robyn felt like she'd lost her little sister Crystal when she ran off and married Guts. She was only 18-years-old and she'd not heard from her in over a month.
But one night, she got a phone call from Crystal asking for help. Unfortunately, the call was cut off when Guts caught her on the phone. Robyn was frantic. She was her only family and she was determined to find her.
Robyn takes what little money she has and heads to Nashville. She checks into a shabby rundown motel. It's all she can afford. She grabs a paper and looks for jobs but doesn't see anything that suits her. The manager of the motel gives her a lead on a job at a biker bar nearby.
Hawk's House is known for its biker customers and live music. It's a rough and tumble kind of place but Crystal is desperate. So, she checks it out.
How bad could it be?
Hawk's Call is book one in the steamy Bad Boy Romance series.
Series can be listened to in any order. HEA guaranteed, and no cliffhanger.

not bad
I have no complaints about the story, it was nice, even if maybe a tad predictable. what I didn't enjoy was the continued repetition of names.. Robin did this, then robin said that..no need to repeat the name again. I didn't enjoy that style at all, unfortunately. narration was ok, though Lissa sounds more like a reader than a narrator.

Let this Listen let you fly like a hawk
This listen is a soul searching beautiful one. This will show you that you shouldn’t Judge anyone. It will show you where you least expect it , the bad boy has a heart of gold and will go out of his way to help that needs it the most .
Hero is a Hawk . Heroine is Robyn.
Robyn is loosing her mind trying to find her younger sister Crystal. Robyn was raising Crystal since she was 19 since their mother passed.
Crystal runs away with a shady character named Guts , Crystal thought life would be great with Guts . Some months later Crystal calls Robyn and asks for help. Robyn goes looking for her but runs into car problems, Hawk stopped and helped her . They go their separate ways. Robyn hears that Crystal is somewhere in a town , Robyn goes there but she notices that she’s low on funds, so Robyn starts work at a bar , and low and behold the bar is owed by Hawk . Lots of $exyal tension between them that slowly turns into love . Lots of levels in this story
The performance of Lisa was good. Her voice is steady , smooth and strong . Her tone for all the characters were right on

Good story but a little too short
Overall a good contemporary romance but I wished the story was just a little bit longer. Particularly the conclusion of the story where the issues were resolved before the HEA. It felt a little sudden and rushed.
Other than that this book had a little of everything: strong yet vulnerable characters, a little suspense, a lot of chemistry, and romance. It is a light, easy and quick listen!
