I am absolutely in Love with this book!
K. Webster and Nikki Ash have done it yet again.

This book was Thrilling, Dark and just a fun and Addictive listen.

I finished this book fairly quickly and let me tell you it was long, but I was hanging on to every word.

The narrators were amazing and I loved listening to this.

Definitely recommend this book😀

Loved the dual narration of Lexi Evans and Logan Anare

Heath is obsession, a villain you end up loving. A man on a mission, a dark and twisted mission, who is out for revenge, driven by anger and rage.
Catrina, on the other hand, was god awful from the start. She was vapid and self-centred. I am guessing they weren't really meant to be good people.
Heath and Catrina are terrible people. Catrina is selfish and Heath is vengeful.

This is a dark and twisted story, with drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance.

This story was so good, I loved the way it flipped between present day and the past. It kept my attention, and I couldn't put it down. I loved Heath and the connections that were happening all throughout the book!

This story was heartbreaking and spicy and somewhat dark and I loved every bit of it. It was so good!

I don't think I can actually convey what a ride this book took me on. A lot, and I do mean a lot of characters are unlikeable and downright horrid, but this book oozes something that kept me entirely hooked. I can't explain what it is, maybe it's the special magic that comes when both authors write together. But this book won't be for everyone. And I can see why, but for me, I was hooked.

Since this is based on one of my all time favourite books it was easy to fall in love with the characters. I really liked the modernisation of the story, but I especially loved that we got more of Harrison (Hearton) and Kat (Cathy's) story. The ending was sweet much more of a HEA than the original. Harrison is by far the most likable character for me and Katherine remains a spoilt idiot as she should be to do justice to the story.

Wow, this book is absolutely brilliant, and since the blurb was brief and vague, I was not sure what to expect, but knowing that Nikki Ash and K. Webster wrote it was enough for me to dive in and the story blew me away like no other. And there is a reason for the brief blurb, the less you know going in the better, just be prepared for a wonderfully told story, definitely not your typical love story, but one that hooks you right in and captivates you attention in such a way that nothing else matters except what is going to happen next in the book. I loved the unique way the story was told, the writing, plot and world building are phenomenal, as are the character growth and development. Heath, sigh. A man on a mission, a dark and twisted mission, who is out for revenge, driven by anger and rage, so much so it consumed him. That is all I will say, despite him not being the only lead character, and not everything is because of him, at least not in the beginning, but it is in the end. The authors created and weaved a complex web, intertwining all characters and their lives. I loved the originality of this dark and twisted story, the drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Nikki Ash and K. Webster, thank you for this amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Lexi Evans and Logan Anare were the perfect cast to bring these characters and story to life. They did an amazing job portraying the characters, giving each a voice that suited them to a tee. I loved how they took their roles and owned them, sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters to sound. They set the right tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling every single one. These entertaining storytellers made a great team and their performance enhanced this already amazing story to another level. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

I love Heath. I love Heath. Heath is it for me. I so loved this book. The narrators were great and added so much more to the story. The story fit so well and felt smooth and unbothered. Everything about this story spoke to me. I was hooked until the very end.

There is a reason I grabbed this one. Nikki Ash and K Webster are authors I cannot resist, and this book is just the reason why. A romance? Yes, but packed with so much passion and frustration that I had to keep listening just to see where it all would go. This story goes back and forth with Emily learning of her Grandmother's relationships and the results of choices made. The story centers around Heath, the one man her Katrina loved, but was love enough? With her choices, Heath lived his life with anger and resentment, fueling his life with such revulsion that it tainted everything he touched. How does this effect Emily? Give this a listen, as the story is filled with emotions and tragedies, love and passion. I could not get enough of it and enjoyed the journey to help Emily's decisions.

Lexi Evans and Logan Anare voice all the amazing characters that surround this story. From Katrina, to Kat, to Helen to Emily, each voice Evans created fit the character perfectly, filling my ears with emotions. Anare had a variety of personalities to fill, Elliott, Heath, Harrison and Theo and he nails each one. Vengeful, loving, pathetic, passionate, each voice pulled me in and I was lost. These two are perfectly cast and the narration impeccable.
