Ten years after the bloody events of season one, the Kingdom of Awadh is now being ruled by an iron hand by Maharani Sukanya. It's an uneasy peace she has fostered, which has led to minor rebellions in remote parts of her kingdom. The absence of the magical forces of Mayawar hasn't gone unnoticed by Sukanya's enemies.
