About this listen

Nathan Raveneau, son of Andre & Devon (Silver Storm), is known as "The Scapegrace" in Regency London for his rakish exploits and devastating good looks. He is also a sea captain with an estate on Barbados. To gain land near his enemy, Xavier Crowe, Raveneau agrees to act as protector to headstrong Adrienne Beauvisage - and keep her chaste until her 21st birthday.

Adrienne is both outraged and intrigued by the man who calls himself Nathan Essex.

Emily Beresford is the perfect narrator for Cynthia Wright's audio books, and this one is no exception. The story is full of excitement, passion, and intrigue, all of which are captured perfectly by Emily. Even the male voices she does are convincing, I really loved listening to this book and definitely recommend it.

Loved every second of it. In this story there were only a couple of characters from Rhett previous books, just Andre Raveneau, Nathan's father and Nicolai Beauvisage Adrienne's father. But it was brilliant. The narrator Emily Beresford was much better than in the other books. Her accent if the natives was so good. I can't wait for more to come out of this series. I simply can't get enough of it.
