Good Job
Given the scarcity of written evidance and confusion generated, it is worth praise that historians endevour to explain the world of the so-called barbarians. Some parts of this book I would definitely not call 'captivating', rather long texts of foreign names dates and coutless familiars coveting and murdering each other without much detail or explanation; but perhaps as a physical book one would have more opportunity to comb through, and gain more clarity. Nevertheless, many key holes in my knowledge were filled and the southern US accent of the narrator is simply gorgeous.
