Summary

Hollywood is indelibly printed in our minds as the ‘go-to’ place for entertainment and has been for decades.

When there really did seem to be more stars in Hollywood than in heaven, Hollywood Stage had them performing films as radio plays - on the sponsor's dime, of course.

Classic films now become audiobooks, with many featuring the original stars from way back when. Here's Strangers on a Train starring Ray Milland and Ruth Roman.

Almost as good as the film.. 😀

Most definitely worth a listen particularly for the wonderful voice of Ray Milland. A very good and condensed story of the original 1951 film. I also enjoyed the short commercial ad for Lux Soap, very typical of that bygone era. Dated and Nostalgic. So good I've listened to it half a dozen times already. One of my favorites and it helps me to sleep 😀
