Great story to get me back into reading

This book is almost a paradony of a gothic novel, full of cliches: а creepy grand mansion, a strange silent child... Not at all like the books in cooperation with Greer Hendricks. No major twists, nothing really happens during these 9 hours, almost nothing new reveled. The protagonist seems hysterical and unprofessional. The final action scene at the house is embarrassing.
I struggled through this book and won't ask for a refund, but it was not enjoyable.
Slow, boring, unrealistic
