THE GRIPPING PSYCHOLOGICAL SUSPENSE FROM THE SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF NO FURTHER QUESTIONS AND THE EVIDENCE AGAINST YOU

You can run, you can hide, but can you disappear for good?

Lauren's daughter Zara witnessed a terrible crime. But speaking up comes with a price, and when Zara's identity is revealed online, it puts a target on her back.

The only choice is to disappear.

To keep Zara safe, Lauren will give up everything and everyone she loves, even her husband.

There will be no goodbyes. Their pasts will be rewritten. New names, new home, new lives.

The rules are strict for a reason. They are being hunted. One mistake - a text, an Instagram like - could bring their old lives crashing into the new.

They can never assume someone isn't watching, waiting.

As Lauren will learn, disappearing is easy. Staying hidden is harder . . .

I can’t imagine a better narrator for this superb piece of work. Nicola Walker’s skill and sensitivity combines with Gillian McAllister’s spare, authentic storytelling in the most wonderful way. The plot suggests a typical, sensationalist-style thriller, but everything is handled and crafted with such realism and lightness of touch that I found myself utterly drawn in from the outset. Made me laugh and cry. First rate.

Beautifully performed, brilliantly written, moved me to tears

Well read and credible read. A modern day horror story with solid characters. Fast paced but in a good way

Excellent from the start to finish

It burns slow throughout but such a good book to listen to. No spoilers so I can’t tell you anymore except that there are not many books that make me cry, twice!

usual great storyline by this brilliant author but was disappointed in what I thought was a sloppy ending.

Great story but .......

Really good story, although slightly slow in parts. Nicola Walker is excellent at narrating.

Some of the things that were done were slightly far fetched, I guess not many of us will ever know what it is like to be in witness protection thankfully so, for now, this is probably the best guess about what happens.

Brilliantly Narrated

From the beginning of this book with its initial original storyline (hard to find these days) I was gripped. It’s really clever how it twists and turns keeping you guessing The narrators voice was engaging and flowed through the story bringing me with her please please read this book

Captivating

My first book by this author so didn’t know what to expect. Kept me engaged start to finish with enough detail to build tension but not so much that was laboured. Plot was tight and believable without being predictable. Will definitely look out for others by this author.

Really enjoyed this
