Excellent study aid

The book is well structured and well read. It really takes into account different learning styles and the fact that dyslexia will impact different people in different ways. It gives some very practical advice in a non judgemental way.

good resource

I got this for my two kids who are a little young (6 and 8) for the exam resource section but I was still glad things to listen to it as some thing can be adapted for their homework etc.
As an adult who is dyslexic, I found that a lot of the tips and advice were things that I had used during my education but I was delighted to be reminded of them and to help my kids implement them in their work. A lot of things that helped me in my studies I had forgotten (its been a while ha!) but it shows how good a resource this bool is (as I know the tips work!)
Somethings I already knew but was delighted to learn the background or categories these things fell into.
the biggest thing I will take from this is the adaptation as my kids grown and the subject they are studying may need a different approach and I shouldn't get stuck in a rut of the 'correct way to study'. There is a good section Ill let me kids listen to for them to figure out how they learn best and let them choose their own homework/study methods
Glad I listened and was a quick book which is needed to hold the attention of dyslexic people listening!

helpful and very useful. not just for dyslexics.

The exercise was enlightening and useful. I ended making notes (unintentional) because the information was so good. I am also going to share this with my daughter as she is hoping to start her GCSE course next week.

Helpful

I found this very helpful with different advise to aid studying. I found I was trying to multi task while listening, so for me I would have to just sit quite. But as it goes through people with dyslexia learn differently. Im glad I listened to this and I think I would get the book to back it up and go through at the same time.

Not worth the investment

Nothing specific for dyslexics to learn from. Reader is uninspiring and frankly, not worth the investment.
