Highy recommend it to those interested in the UFO topic and as an itroduction to the paranormal in general

I've come to this book from YouTube discussions with George Knapp. After reading from many sources favorable rewies of the book, I finally gave it a chance. Having heard multiple times the stories that took place on the ranch and already being familiar with many paranormal phenoma, the book was a little bit of a let-down for me. Well, at least regarding the beginning and the middle. My ADHD brain struggled to stay engaged during parts detailing the history and geological features of the region and other loosly related topics to the spooky. The way many of the incidents are told felt too much like in a novel, and when the reader used his voice to emphasize the tension and be more dramatic, I didn't fancy that eiher - personally, I prefer firsthand accounts and a more 'course' sytle of telling these stories. They're certainly scary enough as they are, also sound more real to me. Thankfully, the book managed regain my fullest attention at the end section, where it lenghtly discusses a variety of different theories on the paranormal; I found it intellectualling engaging and thouroughly enjoyed it. Definetely will read or listen to the book a couple more times. All in all, the book's an awesome introduction to the confounding wierdness that is the paranormal, no wonder so many praise it. Read it, maybe start with the end section (the part that is next to the one describing the experiences of the NIDS team) and then continue from the beggining. Whatever, you'll surely have a good time with it
