the book is fascinating, well researched and entertainingly told. The narrator is good, versatile and clear, if a little ponderous in delivery (listening at 1.10 speed makes this better).

However, the complete lack of sense in the audible chapters is infuriating. Book chapters begin and end in the middle of the 'Audible' chapters, even though the style of writing is anecdotal and episodic so that chapters could easily be divided up between one anecdote and another. Some 'Audible' chapters even cut particular accounts in half and one cut comes, seemingly, in the middle of a paragraph! Having listened to an 'A' chapter before bed I was forced, regularly, to rewind a few minutes the next day to remind me of what was happening. Very Poor! Very Lazy!

The most memorable moments are those about Simon Wiesenthal but I found the whole book interesting. Very well read by Daniel Philpott.

I found this book to be really informative, comprehensive and often harrowing. The author leaves no stone unturned, and is direct in his frequent challenge of popular historical accounts of Nazi hunting.

This book looks at some of the links between the Catholic Church and the Nazi’s on the run from prosecution which is shameful and interesting. It also describes the difficulty the Allies brought upon themselves because they failed to address these crimes at the time, due to improper funding and resources. The history channels are full of revulsion for these acts of horror played out during WW2 but this book is evident that we really don’t care at all. Very few faced trial do these crimes, not that is criminal.

This book was very informative and it surprised me on how many governments including my own turned their backs on what happen to the Jewish people in WW2 the people who carried out these acts should have been hunted properly and brought to justice. A well written book and narrative very well recommended as it given me an insight that I did not learn at School

Thoroughly interesting and fascinating listen. Like always, readers should learn how to pronounce names before attempting silly accents, but that's a minor quibble.

Initial download was corrupted somehow, but deleting and doing it again worked fine.

Loved this book, very sad in places with the descriptions of suffering and wqr crimes committed against minorities.
Much of the book revolves around Simon Wiesenthal and his contradictions in his own memoirs. Along with his failures and successes mixed with examples of his manipulation of facts regardless of innocence proven or otherwise.
Plus his inability to accept blame or apologise for his errors.
Any criticism of his methods were routinely dismissed as anti semitism by Mr Wiesenthal, the race card at work.

informative and structured book it was a very good listen and it showed how the author had researched all the information greatly it was explained and in a very informative way. The narrator was very good.
