About this listen
Discover the Scandinavian art of living a balanced and happy life with minimalism.
The world we’re living in moves at an incredibly fast pace, and it’s hard to juggle all your responsibilities and find time to enjoy yourself. It is so easy to get lost in the everyday rush and a swirl of work responsibilities, domestic chores, and everything else we carry on our shoulders. If you've ever felt like the hours in a day are too few and that there's simply not enough time for you to enjoy the simple things in life, this audiobook will change your perspective and show you that you can have it all.
You’ve probably already heard about hygge, a Danish way of balancing your life and filling it with content and coziness. But wait! The Swedes have answered with lagom, a philosophy that will help you get rid of stress and bring harmony in your life.
Both hygge and lagom offer a stress-free, balanced life, but they slightly differ in methods and approaches. Use this bundle to find out exactly how to implement these strategies in your home, work, and relationships and connect with your feelings. The road to inner peace and happiness is brightly marked. Now, it’s up to you to take it.
Here’s what you get with this bundle:
- A guide on hygge, its significance, and background
- Ways to implement hygge in your home, daily routine, and work
- Steps to use hygge techniques if you're extremely busy
- Techniques to use hygge as a means to achieve emotional and spiritual balance
- Decor strategies for shaping your home into a hygge comfort zone
- An ultimate guide on the lagom philosophy, its origins, and concept
- Techniques for getting rid of bad habits that are holding you back
- A detailed, step-by-step guide on how to implement lagom methods into every sphere of your life
- And much more!
Take a moment to breathe, pour yourself a cup of coffee, tuck yourself in a cozy blanket, and you've already started adopting this Scandinavian lifestyle! It’s not a coincidence that Denmark and Sweden, the nations that have embraced this way of life, are absolutely thriving, and now, you can join them in this pursuit for happiness!

Carolyn ruins self help book disguised as Danish and Swedish culture
As a Dane, I could not identify myself with the hygge book. The author mention candles in every chapter and I start to wonder how many times the same “concepts” of candles, natural materials, a cup of coco or Java is mentioned.
The narrator makes mistakes when reading aloud and there is no consistent quality throughout the chapters. There is even one place where she says “oh, I’ll read that again”
This book is not audible quality neither in content or performance
I skipped most of the Lagom book because of the narrator.
What I did hear was common advice to exercise and eat healthy.
For the hygge book, there were too many self help concepts that are not part of the Danish culture.

Terrible
I tried but every chapter was a repeat just said in a different way. The reading was terrible and really hard to follow. Pauses and mispronouncing made it worse. Gave up after three attempts.

terrible
I've only got about a quarter of the way through this book but it's just terrible. I feel like it was written by a.i. the pronunciation and reading of the book is terrible. I don't know if they are translating it as they year it or if it's just badly written. Very disappointing
