Summary
Elizabeth Bennet is living a lie.
She’s known since she was fifteen that she isn't truly a Bennet, but who is she? Are the people and places that appear in her dreams just a sign of her active imagination, or are they memories of her true family? Could the stories she'd told Jane when they were children not be stories at all?
Fitzwilliam Darcy is reliving a nightmare.
He hasn’t dreamed of “Ellie” Windham in years, but after meeting Elizabeth Bennet, he is reminded of the day little Ellie was kidnapped. And now he is left to wonder whether he is drawn to more than her fine eyes. When Darcy realizes that Elizabeth and Ellie might be one and the same, he is anxious to return her to the Windhams, and Elizabeth is no less eager to meet her family. But when the idyllic reunion she longed for goes awry, both Darcy and Elizabeth wonder whether it’s really possible to put a broken family back together again.
Can Darcy help Elizabeth find her place in her first family so she can one day join him in his?

A long story, but it kept me gripped throughout.
The story had its ups and downs, but was not overly dramatic, as things were not drawn out and there were small, interpersonal issues and daily life mixed in with the bigger ones.

One of my favourites
I have waited a long time for this story to be made into audiobook and wasn’t disappointed. I loved this story as a book and the narration has just made it even better. This is one of the best duets I have listened to with the seamless transition from Harry’s to Stevie’s voices, it felt like they were together in the same room. Their tone of voices, characterisations and pacing were so well matched, I hope we get more duets from them

Loved the book, the audiobook didn't disappoint
I bought the kindle version in 2020 and couldn't resist the audio version with 2 well known and talented voice artists. It was just an absolute delight.
The story is off-canon, with Elizabeth not being a Bennet, and the romance between her and Darcy is low angst. The pace is good and the HEA is reached without any wasted time or chapters to skip. I definitely recommend this to P&P enthusiasts.

Near Perfection❣️
An interesting, well paced story with narration near perfection. This duet works perfectly and is the first P&P I’ve listened to with this style and it works so well. Well worth a listen.

Thoroughly enjoyable
This is the best P&P variation I have read so far and I have read quite a few. The narrators were excellent and plot was very engaging
