About this listen
Dreams of the Olympics shattered at a young age, Elizabeth turns her attention to the sport her father loves. Hockey. It’s the only thing that keeps her from falling into despair over the realization that she will never be a professional figure skater. Falling in love with the sport, arguably more obsessed than her father, she decides to put her focus on her studies.
Becoming an Athletic Trainer is her new dream, and her mom always taught her to dream big. So her sites are on the NHL. Wanting to join the very sport that saved her life. The sport that allowed her to keep her love for the ice.
Graduating top of her class, she is offered several job offers, but the only one she has eyes for is the NHL. Finding herself back in the town she left several years ago, she’s now in charge of ten men for the Washington Wraiths.
Her job gets harder when two of the men she is in charge of seem to have attached themselves to her. Will she be able to continue to be professional?
Or will she break under the attention of a supportive cinnamon roll and a grumpster that only seems to smile for her? Will these two men allow her to fly across the ice again?

YA hockey romance with a twist
This is a feel-good romance that has a bit of everything thrown in. Lots of hockey. Betrayal. A stalker. A throuple relationship. A bit of spice (one "together" scene). The characters are all young and their personalities, actions, and language reflect that.
I really liked the narrator's sweet tone for the FMC. I felt like it suited the character very well. I thought the narrator did a good job of having different voices for a multitude of characters.

Holiday read
A nice feel factor book. I listened on audio and the narrator complimented the author.

Ice
Loved the narration Barbie Jean Warmack, who brings the drama and emotions to your ears.
This book has such emotions and drama going on. We have loss, romance, abuse, drama, backstabbing of those you should trust. All with the back ground of hockey and figure skating. Make sure to read the triggers.
