I do t know how I ended up listening to this. but I can definitely say that even as a 100% straight woman, I loved this story. Every chapter hooked me in even further into the storyline! I've never had the pleasure of being friends with a lesbian and I found myself wishing I could meet and be friends with someone like Ash! 100/100

Good story almost ruined by the monotone and mechanical narrator. I’ll never read a book read by this narrator again, almost gave up several times and only kept going as I wanted to know the outcome of the protagonists

I loved the story and the characters honestly but I really found it hilarious listening to this narrator 🤣🤣who speaks like that? 😂😂so unrealistic and please don’t say fuck with that accent ever again I beg u😂😂any hoooo😂 great storyline😍

I’ll be honest, I found this book a bit of a struggle to finish. I usually love Harpers stories but felt like this one was a bit boring.

Not a fan of the narrator’s voice at all, unfortunate as the book/story itself is fabulous and probably my favourite HB book. The Queen barely talks this level of hoity-toity Carmen Rose puts on. Love Harper’s books and these characters feel completely out of step with the voice of the narrator. Gabrielle Baker who has narrated for British characters in Harper’s Books would’ve suited better I feel. Spoiled really by the brilliance and nuance that Angela Dawe & Abby Craden bring to characters, sadly lacking here for the enigmatic Ash & Gloria.
