Ferguson's book is excellent. Read by the author he makes his way through every century 1 to 20 assessing the impact of Christ and the church on these 2,000 years. I was wondering whether to buy this from audible when I heard a book review of another of his writings. Alistair Begg said the women in a USA female prison were queuing up to read his book on the Christian life. Say no more, I said to myself. Get Ferguson's book!
