Summary
Henrietta Lovell is on a mission to revolutionize the way we drink tea by replacing industrially produced teabags with the highest quality tea leaves. Her quest has seen her travel to the Shire Highlands of Malawi, across the foothills of the Himalayas, and to hidden gardens in the Wuyi-Shan to source the world's most extraordinary teas.
Infused invites us to discover these remarkable places, introducing us to the individual growers and household-name chefs Lovell has met along the way - and reveals the true pleasures of tea. The result is a delicious infusion of travel writing, memoir, and recipes, all written with Lovell's unique charm and wit.

A beautiful book and changed the way I think about tea
So unique, Wonderful blend of autobiography and descriptions of the people and places where tea is crafted. And such a way with words. Had me grinning whilst listening at many points. If you love tea listen to it. I’ve been making tea with the wrong principles all my life (too little tea in the pot and water too hot)- thank you so much for gently reeducating me!!! Have now bought a spread of Rare Teas to taste some of the chapters!

Evocative journey through tea and memories
A simply exquisite book, part memoir, part history book, a sprinkling of recipes and a tour of the tea growing regions of the world. Henrietta weaves her own memories and stories through the history of tea growing and gives the most beguiling descriptions of the people, places and teas she has met along the way. I grew up in Sri Lanka and she has perfectly captured the essence of the tea country and her passion for high quality, ethically produced tea comes across in every chapter. The narration is also fantastic, the perfect soundtrack to afternoon tea.

Simply life changing
I have started listening to this book and couldn’t stop. I have listened to it back to back in one session, and I didn’t want it to finish. The passion and knowledge of the author is truly life changing, and her performance reaches you on a personal level. This content of this book is informative, funny, real and romantic. I woke up the following morning wanting to read it again, however not until “I” had my morning cup of tea first. Best book I have read in years !!! It’s a MUST.

Beautiful Narration
Henrietta's voice is wonderful and as soothing as the teas lovingly describes. Her journey around the world and people she meets are fascinating.

Amazing Read, difficult listen
I admire any author who narrates their own book but I found this difficult to hear, it was quiet and whispered. I stuck with it because the content was so good, a truly amazing journey. I was so excited to find a book like this about Tea.
