About this listen

[100% Non-Profit Initiative] Full credits and massive appreciation to Nate Schmold for narrating the Audiobook! This component of the initiative would not have been possible without his expert contributions. Check out his work at: 3030.ca/

James: The Untold Story takes listeners on a tour of the numerous undermined challenges faced by the underprivileged and vulnerable populations of Canada and beyond. From shopping for back-to-school supplies, to fitting into the vast school community, the challenges faced by these children are monstrous. Going through these challenges takes an inevitable toll on these children's overall health. As a result, their stress levels are often very high.

Studies show that in general, a prolonged exposure to elevated stress hormones can act as a fundamental trigger for complex medical conditions. This book aims to introduce these populations to the diverse stress-busting benefits offered through literature. By providing underprivileged and vulnerable youth an opportunity to indulge themselves within a work of literature that they can personally relate to, they can branch out to exploring more literary works, developing effective stress management techniques in the process. This will significantly improve their quality of life over the long term and marks the primary purpose of this non-profit initiative. By making the book available in the Audiobook format, we are now able to reach an even wider audience!
