A genre-bending story told entirely through interviews about a reality TV crime show that follows a missing girl in America: Cara Hunter meets Serial by way of The Appeal.

THE NATION IS OBSESSED. WHAT HAPPENED TO SARA?

Entertaining take on voyeuristic true crime entertainment

Interesting, twisty, though far-fetched story with some suspension of disbelief required. The different (unreliable) narrators I think probably worked better in print. I found them saying their name at the start of each short narrative section repetitive and distracting. Otherwise the performances were mostly very good.

Engrossing

I really enjoyed the format of this book and how the story unfolded through various perspectives. Great performances from the cast, and a nice twist at the end.

Superb book- gripping and thought- provoking

This book was actually dramatised with superb voice actors. The story captures the zeitgeist and left me thinking about it afterwards- excellent!

Original delivery

A typical crime novel but delivered in an original way that works particularly well in audiobook format. Reminded me of True Crime Story by Joseph Knox, which is also excellent.

Good Audiobook, mediocre story

The cast was amazing. I give them 5 stars on their performance. Unfortunately, the story wasn't as good and, frankly, the message condescending.
