These two have chemistry . This is a hot listen , with action and twists in its plot.

This is another great story in the Merciless Kings series. Piper Stone has done a wonderful job of sucking us into this mafia forbidden romance. Thomas Locklear did a great job with the narration. This is the kind of book that keeps you up at night. Once you start reading it you can't put it down. Several scenes will keep you on the edge of your seat because there is always something going on. There is so much violence, betrayal, and greed in the Mafia.

The narrator captures the story beautifully. The experience was like watching a movie. It was so easy to imagine what was taking place. The dog barking, the gun shots and many other sounds brought the story to life for me.

The listening experience was stimulating and enjoyable.

Piper Stone continues to deliver; she is talented with an incredible imagination and is not afraid to cross our delicate boundaries. King's Temptation is the sixth book and outstanding addition to the Merciless Kings series. The storyline was wholly engaging, intense, and riveting; a perfect blend of dark, steam, kink, suspense, action, danger, and romance. The character development is phenomenal; Dimitri and Angelique displayed layers of complexity and emotional depth. They're were the perfect match, their bond, the glue to put back their broken pieces and heal past scars. Chemistry was great, utterly electrifying, I was totally sucked into their journey.

Another stellar performance by Thomas Locklear. He embodied the characters and portrayed them flawlessly. I can't imagine anyone else narrating the series. Aside from having an attractive voice, he is talented and sounds believable in every role; I could easily picture the characters and follow the narrative. Overall, King's Temptation was a satisfying and enjoyable listen with quality narration, one I'll highly recommend.

Loved the audiobook listening to the story felt like you were watching the scene unfold. The author Piper Stone has outdone herself again, with Merciless Kings book six. This story socks you in at the start and does not let go until the very end. It has everything you would want in a Mafia story, the danger, suspense, action, enemies, anger, fear, courage, strength, threats, violence, family, confidence, pain, passion / lust, happiness and love. Dimitri is Russian and a Protector to the King's family he watches Angelique from a distance, the electric shock every time they touch. Dimitri is in love with her and she is with him but he cannot cross the line, that was the rule when he started working for them. When an enemy wants Angelique Dimitri was given the job to protect her at all costs. Will he protect her from their enemies.
The narrator Thomas Locklear really has a voice that puts you in a trance it is so mesmerising listening to him. He is so easy to understand his words. Fantastic job by all parties.

This book has a great storyline. I love how tough our leading lady is. With so much action throughout you will struggle to put it down. Thomas has shown so much of his talent with this book, with a great sounding Russian accent you will be melting.
