Wonderful story

This should be on every dog lovers list. Although written almost 100 years ago it loses nothing of its potency as an enchanting tale of canine courage. Anyone who has watched the 'Lassie' films will love this but be warned, you will need the tissues handy from time to time!

It is certainly up there with the likes of Black Beauty and 101 Dalmatians as one of the very best animal stories as Lad's adventures both on and off 'The Place' are beautifully related.
