About this listen
There’s nowhere left to hide.
Lydia Anderson is an unbonded omega living in fear of the day her past catches up with her. Hunted by her ex, betrayed by her own family, staying out of sight is her only protection. Or it was, until she met Pack Saint Clair, and found love and safety in their arms.
Her new pack’s status as a powerhouse of the business world makes it impossible for them to live truly private lives. Their influence can protect Lydia from those set on hurting her, or so they hope.
But their past may prove to be just as dangerous.
The pack have been fighting their own battle to break free of Seth Douglas, an omega who will stop at nothing to maintain his sadistic control over them. Jealous and bitter, Seth will do whatever it takes to get rid of Lydia, even if that means leading her abusers to her front door.
When her past finds her, Lydia must decide what price she’s willing to pay for love…and hope that price isn’t her life.
Lavender and Lightning is the second book in the Pack Saint Clair series, which will feature MM, MMF, FF, and poly relationships. This story touches on subjects that may be triggering to some listeners, including descriptions of past abuse (see content warning for more details). While there will be bumps in the road, this series will end with a HEA.

Lavender & Lightning
I've been desperate for this since I read Lilacs and Leather, as soon as this dropped in my library I couldn't wait to read it. This picks up right where book one leaves off. It's also just as good as book 1. Seeing the dynamic between the pack ebb and flow was fantastic and seeing Lydia follow her heart more was just what I wanted.

How the tables have turned 🤩
I really enjoyed this one even more than book one. I liked how Lydia and Lex’s relationship grew further out of that slowburn and how the rest of Lydia’s relationship with the guys turned into a really well thought out family dynamic but a hell of a lot of spice! It was more explosive this one, which had me craving more and more! The story was a bit slow but really amped up at the end! How have I not read this sooner?

I couldn’t put this down!
Book 2 picks up very quickly after the end of book 1. This book is full of action, twists and turns, secrets, humor, spice. I love that we get to see more between Lex and Lydia in this book. I also enjoy all the dynamics between the Lydia and the pack.
I cannot wait for book three so I can see how Lydia’s story ends!
Matt Haynes and Maeve York continue to do a phenomenal job portraying the characters and brought these characters and story to life!

Omegaverse Romance
Lavender and Lightning by Thora Woods is an omegaverse romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Matt Haynes and Maeve York. This is the second book in the Pack Saint Clair series.
This is the second book of Thora's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I am loving the relationship that is blooming between Lydia, Rhett, Mateo, Lucas, and Alexandra. It's messy but you can't but root for them. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book.
The book ended on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for the next book in the series Laurels and Liquor to be released on audio so I can get more of their story.
Matt and Maeve did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like omegaverse romances or contemporary romances.

Interesting omegaverse!
Lydia is running away from her prime Alpha and his ex. Abused and humiliated, she found solace in another pack. A small one lead by Alexi, she finds love and true bonds, but there’s danger from her family, a vengeful omega and her ex. There are secrets all over but this will make them stronger at the end. Good narration with so many characters.

Great Omegaverse
This was a great second installment of Lydia and her pack. This is an omegaverse RH with some triggers so check the warnings to make sure you’re ok with listening.

Love this Omegaverse! Great Story & Listen🎧
It is great to be back in Thora Woods’ “Pack Saint Clair” omegaverse world again, this is a continuation of Lydia Anderson and her new pack mates’ story which started in “Lilacs and Leather”, and needs to be read or listened to first. The world building starts there and the author lays down the foundation for what is to come, this book picks up right after that one ended, and what an ending it was. Lydia is fitting in nicely with the pack, getting familiar with the dynamics of everyone’s relationship while trying to deal with her own inner demons and her messed up family situation, the pack she left and the brute who tried to force a mating bond on her. The plot thickens on that front too, since she is being forced to return back there for a family wedding. Simon continues to be a thorn in the side of the pack and Alexandria finally comes clean as to why she is handling things the way she is. I am loving the pack dynamics with Alexandria, Rhett, Matteo, Lucas, and Lydia, despite having some growing pains, they just work and the chemistry between them is smoking hot and so is their fierce protectiveness of Lydia. They come up with a plan to keep her safe while attending the wedding, plus they set their own plan into action to help rid of the leaches who birthed her. There is never a dull moment in this cleverly plotted story, the drama is non-stop, the romance heats up even more and there are some more twists and turns, some heartfelt and emotional moments and an ending that you did not see coming. Thora Woods, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride, I am looking forward to what happens next for Pack Saint Clair.
🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Matt Haynes and Maeve York continue to do an amazing job bringing these characters and their story to life. They have given each character their own distinct voice, making it easy to follow along and tell who is who and are believable in every role they play. They continue to set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the character’s emotions and project them into their performance, making you feel every single one. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to and their performance enhances the story to another level of greatness. Thank you for another fabulous listen.
