Summary
Pilot Rayford Steele is contemplating adultery with a young flight attendant when over 100 of his passengers simply vanish, leaving vacated clothes and bewildered companions. Rayford and the others left behind must deal with mass chaos on top of personal loss. Among the passengers still left is star reporter Cameron "Buck" Williams, who just got the assignment of a lifetime: find out what happened and why. An intriguing perspective on Bible prophecy
OK, not everyone will agree with the End Times view of the authors, but then again this is fiction. Personally, I really enjoyed this and would recommend the Left Behind series wholeheartedly. Whether you agree with it or not, it will certainly get you thinking.

A Warning for Everyone

Great story let down by poor narration and subplot
The narrator has only one voice, consequently every character sounds very similar.
The ludicrous 'romantic' sub-plot between the brattish daughter and the reporter is completely false and superfluous. Just slows down the pace of the story.
