About this listen
Letters from a Stoic is collection of 124 letters which were written by Seneca at the end of his life, during his retirement, and written after he had worked for the Emperor Nero for 15 years. They are addressed to Lucilius, the then procurator of Sicily.
The letters highlight many moral and ethical ways to live, and address many of the issues known to man, about life and death.
Each letter has been carefully adapted into modern English to allow for easy listening and understanding.
This is the complete volume containing all 124 letters.
Enjoy!

Even on 0.8 speed, this is read way too fast
I was disappointed at the speed at which this book is read. Even at 80% speed, it's still sounds like the narrator is rushing. The content is amazing but the reading of it lets this down. I would recommend another version.

Great work, very poor recording.
This is the first poor audible experience I've had in several years. The narration is robotic and too fast. Also, the recording jumps after every couple of minutes, making it impossible to follow. Really disappointing.

Speed that makes you dumb listener
The content of this book is great. However it is made difficult to grasp by uninvolved and speedy performer who does not care what he reads..
