A Post Apocalypse Adventure
The earth ruined, and our hero decides to fight back
The story is quite deep and quite funny with some very interesting plot twists,
I thoroughly recommend this book if the rest of the series are the same quality as this first book. I can’t wait for the next

Clever story, but the main MC .. needs to grow up
This is a tough one, the story was novel and the narration clear and well articulated.. my problem was the main MC, they were well developed, but were a teenager and being an adult I got frustrated by their decisions, they were right for the character, but just frustrated me, making obvious mistakes. In many ways hats off to the writer for getting such an emotion from me, it just tarnished my enjoyment.
Spoilers:
The main MC is a granger at almost a fighting school we’re their actions are monitored by an orb each has, after damaging their orb the main MC manages to alter it, taking control of its functions, this has consequences and he then finds himself battling for his life, he survives and then alters the orbs of his immediate friends.. then heads out to find his parents.. it doesn’t go well.. if you want to know more.. listen.

Weirdly Epic
Quite possibly one of the weirdest and best post apocalyptic style stories I've encountered. Humans as bioelectric batteries isn't a new idea but it's the sheer creepiness of it in this book that gives me the shivers. Truly an absolutely brilliant story. Although book 2 needs to hurry up as I wanna know who the aliens are!

A fight against the system
A wonder adventure with the MC fighting against the system. The world building is amazing, and the scenes are interesting. All in all, it was a very fun and engaging book. Can't wait for more.

Has potential
A good story overall, I can't wait for the next book so I can find out what happens next. The ability system was a little weak but towards the end of the book, it started to show some potential, I look forward to seeing how it develops further. The narrator was also very good.

When can i get to hear book 2?!?!
had no expectations from this book, as its the first time i listened to anything written by Zac Ostermann, or narrated by Harry Frost.
Narration was fantastic, Harry has a really great narration voice, which is easy to listen to.. and this on top of this really nice litrpg story.. which isnt as heavily focused on leveling up, as the title might suggest, but alot more on world building..
It's definitely gonna go directly to my list of books that is easily suggestible to people that is curious about this genre, but also veteran readers of this genre.
Huge thumbs up to Zac Ostermann for a great story.
