Summary

Zoe Lake and Aric Winters have been through it all. From murderous professors to tan vampires and all of the wolves, witches, and sphinxes they can shake Zoe's magic fingers at along the way. They've survived it all.

Now, five years after leaving Covenant College, Aric and Zoe are leading a quiet life hidden away from potential enemies and old friends. All of that changes when a familiar face from the past shows up needing help.

Zoe and Aric are due for a change, and they're going to get just that in this exciting new trilogy. Follow the most powerful mage in the land as she navigates the horrors of evil minds and power-hungry megalomaniacs - even as she tries to plan a wedding and secure her happily ever after.

This three-book omnibus includes every installment of The Living Covenant Trilogy, including Rising Covenant, Dark Covenant, and Eternal Covenant.

As good as the first trilogy

If you thought the first narrator sounded a little squeaky and juvenile, have no fear... this book is read by a new narrator and we have swapped juvenile for geriatric!
It spoiled the enjoyment of these books and was pretty grating... I didn't really get used to it until mid way through book 3 but there were still times when I had to remind myself that the characters were in their 30's and not their 90's.
I found it also very unrealistic that a character as strong as Zoe would allow anyone to manipulate and disrespect her the way she does in these books, but then with out that story line I guess there wouldn't be much else to write about.
I'm looking forward to the next installment, and praying it's read by a better narrator.

Soo good

Was dubious about the narrators change over at first, specially after dealing with screechy & very screechy but you did get used to it after awhile albeit at times I got a raging headache but I continued as the story line was very good.
Then we went to a complete new narrator & this one had a very sleepy docile voice which was NOT Zoe Lake at all, it did take me quite awhile to get used to it although I kept passing out listening to it but again, I loved the storyline, it made me cry & laugh, incl my son who had no choice but to hear it when he came in from work, he had a good chuckle, specially on Zoe & Arics wedding (BTW I love the name Aric), I love the fact these two are SO much in love, they look out for each other & stand by each other no matter what & the fact this powerful mage has the heart to forgive those that have wronged them & give them a second chance!
I do find the battle scenes end too quickly would like a bit more magic from Zoe & what's happened to Aric, we're has Aric's input gone, it just seems now Zoe is doing all the fighting, even though she is a powerful mage, would also like to know how strong her powers are & what else can she do (anticipating more) come on give some back to Aric.

Out of them all I love Raphael, he is one cool 😎 vampire 🧛‍♂️ his wit is sharp & droll & funny. As for Kelsey she is quite the best funny sharp tongued friend, & Parys love her, would like to see more of her witches powers to come to light, she does seem to take a back seat to Zoe but I'd like to see her powers grow (but not as much as Zoes of course).
I'm now looking forward to the next trilogy in this series & it would be so nice to have these numbered. As far as I can tell we end with Raphael allowed to go into the sunlight, Zoe & Aric getting married & she also finds out she's pregnant. The next series they have a 12 Yr old daughter, what happened in between! Have I missed a series or something? Hope not! 😵‍💫

Living Covenant: The Complete Series

This is a cooling three books best on Zoe and Eric's life five years after they left college. Each book has a challenge for Zoe to over come and helps her better use her magic. With the love banter between them they drive those around them crazy while making this a fun series. Read brilliantly by Erin DeWard.

Love the story

I do love the story and like Zoe lake although from listening to covenant college to this I know that the characters are older and should reflect that in the narration but I’m not imagining a person in there 30s but a person in there 60s. Suitable for Zoe’s mother but not the main character. Other than that I like the stories and think I’ll stick to reading kindle on these stories.

Fantastic Series of Books!!

I honestly don't know how many words can express my feelings about these books and this author. I downloaded the first series of these 5 books on audiobook and when I saw it was 36 hours I was dubious about it. I started on 26 March 2021 and I can quite happily say that every night and every opportunity I have had, I have listened and got completely hooked on the books, the plots and the characters!!! As soon as I started to get engrossed in this, I started researching and found out there was this trilogy (25 hours) which continues when they leave college. That was downloaded as well. All in all there is over 61 hours of fantastic writing from an extremely talented author. I LOVED EVERY SINGLE PART OF IT. There were not any moments of the plot dragging, I didn't get bored once and that is astonishing when you think of 61 hours!!! Do not hesitate for one second to read/listen to these books. They deliver on every single level.

Please write more in this series!!!!

The last book is disappointing

Would you listen to Living Covenant: The Complete Series again? Why?

I would possibly listen to this series again, but I might fast-forward past the first 18 chapters of the final book.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

Revisiting the their Covenant College after 5 years being referred to as "old" by the students.

Any additional comments?

The last book is disappointing as the first eighteen chapers or so are like a bad wedding-obsessed sit-com full of pointless cliched mother-taking-over-wedding-plans scenes that seem to just be there as filler to make the book long enough to count as a book. Once they got all that out of the way the actual meat of the story was OK.

Very Enjoyable

I love Zoe Lake - Winters and I love it when she crops up in other stories by the author.

wasn't the same as the original books

I found it annoying that the old narrator wasn't used as the new voice didn't appeal to me. It's annoying how he calls her 'trouble' all the time and what is with all unnecessary foreplay talk and sex talk. If you're gonna talk about them wanting to have sex all the time at least make it interesting instead of creepy and annoying, or better still put some actual sex in it!!!
