I have thoroughly enjoyed all the Edward Rutherford books that I have read/listened to. They are all clearly very well researched and the family traits that thread through each book are brilliant.

Everyone should read this book, it is fantastic. Please can you have more of the Author's books on audible. Paris is also a fabulous book, would be great to be able to listen to more

It seems that it will be too long a listen, but no, as you go on with this long story, you are dragged in and the culmination in the last paragraph brings a worthy conclusion. More than a history, but things you vaguely knew ( and those you didn’t) are revealed as you listened. Well worth the hours spent!
