This third book in the North and Martin series is an absolute cracking story. Jim and Kerry are investigating the disappearance of a young child and there are similarities to what happened to Jim many years ago. Could the same killer be back? The narration is superb and I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a good thriller.

The detective is on the case with his partner of the man that caused his childhood trauma.
if kidnapping isn't for you or bad things that happen to kids, skip it but otherwise I enjoyed the twists and turns.
Characters were believable and the logic was sound.
