Summary
Aria’s life has been carefully planned and closely monitored. She’s the sister of the Alpha. Which means dating is pretty much not an option. After a kidnapping brings her very unexpectedly face to face with her fated mate, she’s forced to acknowledge some hard truths. He’s the villain. Isn’t he? His track record looks bad from afar but the closer she gets to him, the more she sees the truth beneath. His wolf is sick and they’re running out of time. He needs a pack. But will her pack ever accept him after what he’s done? Or will Aria be forced to choose between her mate and the family and friends she’s known her whole life?
Lark wasn’t born a lycan, and he never expected to find a mate. His life was nothing but torment and darkness before he found Aria. He’s drawn to her, and so is his wolf. His beast is unpredictable and too powerful for him to control. Lark wants to stay away from Aria to protect her. But the more he fights fate, the more he finds Aria in his arms—and bed. His magic can only do so much to keep him hidden from those hunting him. He’s playing a dangerous game, one that could end up costing Aria her life, or Lark his human form. Will his wolf take control, permanently? Or will his fated mate find a way to save them both before it’s too late?

Loved Lark and Aria
Brilliant !
I have been anticipating what would become of Lark and I was not disappointed with his story.
This is a forbidden romance as Lark had been working with the collectors the enemy....But unbeknowst to everyone Lark was not doing it willingly.
Lark has a tragic past his mother murdered and being raised by an evil entity that used and abused him...Alls Lark has ever know was torture and pain,he had never had Love in his life until Aria.
Aria is the sister of Gideon the Alpha to their pack and she had spent her whole life living in his shadow, and being surrounded in his over protection...Which means no-one would come near her for fear of the Alphas wrath..she thought she would be alone forever until Lark.
Lark sees Aria for the woman she is, an individual and not Gideons sister...Aria also sees Lark for the man he is and not for the monster he thinks he is.
They first meet when Lark takes Aria during a battle with the collectors and something between them happens in that moment,a connection that fuses them as soul mates.
They meet in secret because if Gideon found out Lark was her mate he would be furious.
Lark is an unusual creature though,he is a celestial and a Lycan with extra powers so I assume he is a hybrid..But he has no control over his wolf..he is at war with the wolf within,he desperaetely needs a pack and an alpha to help him put a leash on his wolf.
Aria wants to help him but that means telling Gideon everything...Would Gideon help ? would he reject Lark?..But before Aria can tell her brother about her love for Lark and the help he needs she is sent away.
This book is incredible I really enjoyed it..
I found Lark and Aria's story quite touching it had some moving moments because Lark is so unhinged at times and Aria is the only one who could calm him.
I LOved Lark a sexy, gorgeous, tattooed bad boy with a heart of gold is always a winner with me..and I loved the way he adores Aria.
We also see a different side to Aria instead of the party girl without a care in the world,we see Aria fight for someone she loves and she stands up to her brother, she is conflicted between the love for her brother Gideon and the man she is falling for Lark.
The audiobook which is Narrated once again by Stella Hunter and Ryan West is pure class..absolutely Superb they are both staggeringly talented and I Love listening to them...they have me captivated every single time.Fantastic audiobook.
I am totally enchanted by this world Violet Taylor has created and I cannot get enough of the Ulric pack and the Mates they fall for.
Lark and Aria forever.

Book 3
I am in love with these characters and their relationships. This book tells Aria & lark’s point of view for most of book 2, then the second half is new story. All of these books have held my attention the entire time. The narration is great. I definitely recommend this series.
