About this listen
For over 2,000 years, my name has been printed in the holy book and buildings have been erected in my honor. Yet, men in ornate robes have trampled on my words, tainted my name, and hidden my story from you. The exceptional events of my life have been erased....
Based on the life of Mary Magdalene, Magdala beautifully pieces together the hidden remnants from the past and masterfully weaves them into a fascinating tale about faith, love, and our connection with the Divine. Magdala transports listeners 2,000 years into the past as it follows Mary Magdalene on her journey from innocence to cherished healer, sacred confidante, wife, and mother. A stirring work of historical fiction that explores the meaning of Mary Magdalene in the face of her erased history, Magdala is a fascinating invitation to re-examine the hidden messages in Jesus’ teachings and what it truly means to be a powerful woman. Perfect for listeners of Meggan Watterson, Paulo Coelho, Claire Heartsong, and Clarissa Pinkola Estes, this is the lost story of Mary Magdalene as it should have always been told.
Bridget Erica is an internationally sought-after Reiki master, teacher and healer, and writer. Her passion for energy healing, combined with her personal pursuit to uncover hidden stories from the past, inspired her to re-write the story of Mary Magdalene, one of the most misunderstood and influential women and healers in history. Bridget resides in Rome with her husband and two children. Magdala is her first novel. Follow her at bridgeterica.com.

Lovely story, with a heartfelt reading.
I have read and listened to a lot Mary Magdalene literature. I also bought the book and enjoyed reading it however I got the audio so I could find time to finish it. The narrator has a beautiful voice with lovely tones however for me it gave the text less credibility, felt mills and boon territory. Something I wasn’t expecting from Bridget Erica.
Glad I listened and supported more work on Mary Magdalene’s teachings, however this won’t be a book I would point many too as I feel it would enhance people’s skepticism. Good to have all thoughts out there though. Thank you

Amazing 1st person account.
Whether or not the book of this caliber/type resonates with a person is naturally very different.
Your view will be depending on your beliefs, where you stand spiritually and how open you are as a person, to take in new information about something, where the story books, canon religious texts and accepted history, tells you something else.
I found this book enlightning and enjoyable on multiple levels, and found quite a few messages for me personally in my quest to explore the hidden side of history/religion that has been kept from us from the “establishment”.
This is a gift to anyone who wishes to know more about the close relationsship between Yeshua and Mariamne - and more importantly learn about the great divine feminines lost role in shaping what we know about our world and our hidden abilities and untapped potential.
A must read!
