Maigret is special

Another great story and read so well. I’m working my way through this collection and have not yet been disappointed.

Simenon can't be bettered.

Just over three hours of literary bliss - again. Simenon is remarkable. Maigret is a perfect literary creation. And Gareth Armstrong is immaculate, as always.

the suspense

excellent story, I felt as if I was inside the story, I was lead along and shown little glimpses of possible clues but the joy was being able to share Maigret's anger, beautifully written

Great story and narration.

I have listened to a few Maigret stories and this is one of the best. As always, wonderful narration by Gareth Armstrong.

Simenon does it again.

I shall be very sorry when I get to the last book in the series. Every one so far has been a good one. Not a bit sorry that I’ve bought them all so far.
