Absolutely love all books written by Kerry Barnes, you really get into the story and feel like you know the characters... I never want her books to end. The icing on the cake is having the fabulous Annie Aldington narrating and bringing the story to life, she is the best.

I liked this book, I love the narrator, the plot was great and it really seemed realistic! The language was colourful, maybe too much? Not sure really.

Thoroughly enjoyed it especially the romantic part (always nice to have a small love interest that doesn’t dominate) .

Also liked the brief description of the domestic violence situation, so believable and good that people can understand how things can gradually get so bad.

This author is now on my wish list reads.
