Comedy Genius takes you through every emotion!
What made the experience of listening to Maybe You Never Cry Again the most enjoyable?
Straight from the horses mouth! Every sigh, pause and chuckle had an impact. Fantasic story telling. It felt like you were listening to a friend on the telephone. Perfection!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Bernie of course! His wife is a strong lady also!
Have you listened to any of Bernie Mac’s other performances? How does this one compare?
Stand up and films are great but this book allows the listener to know the real Man behind the Comedy
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I dont want to spoil it for other listeners but it is a roller coster ride of emotions.

inspirational
An education for kids that think that they may have had it bad growing up.
I'd recommend this for those who want to know the drivers for Bernie. It's fundamental and just gives you a nudge to better yourself. Thoroughly enjoyed this.

Best book ever period!!
I cried and laughed throughout, I bought two hard copies that I've read time and time again, listened to the audio big time and time again.
Its the bloody good.

Started Very Well...
I loved this book to start with. A great story about his childhood. Really interesting. If it had stayed this way it would have been a 5 star book.
However about half way through it felt like the book needed serious editing. There were too many details about little things - what they ate for dinner, grievances with employers and landlords, tributes to those that have supported him, lots of name dropping and repetition. Little interesting story and more about how much he earned, where he worked, the hours he worked and so forth.
I expected there to be more comedy in this book and there was almost none, which was a shame.

Maybe You Never Cry Again
I loved this book. Narrated by the Late great Bernie Mac himself, It was like listening to a conversation. Straight from the heart and pulling no punches in true "Bernie Mac" style. This book had me laughing so much in places and close to tears in others. Definitely 5 stars from me.

It's going right back on
The only bad thing that I can say is that I wish it was longer. What a joy to hear. I have been a fan from the Kings of comedy to house party 3. It was wonderful to get to know more about him and his up bringing. It's a most listen and as the title says "it's going right back on"

I wanted to know a little bit about this talented comedian who died too young. Loved the story- lots of wise advice which is of course wrapped in funny :)
