I bought this book for my teenage daughter, hoping it would give her a little boost in confidence. High school can be rough, and I noticed she was being pretty hard on herself lately. I was sure she'd make the time to listen because she's pretty busy. We actually listened together in mornings during breakfast for a few minutes. It is organized in a way that you don't have to listen the whole way through, you can just listen for a few moments at a time. Each day we would focus on the affirmations that spoke to us the most. It hasn't been more than a few weeks but I honestly can see a difference in her attitude as well as mine. She’s more focused, and when challenges come up, she doesn’t get as down on herself. This is helping me as well as I'm less stressed that she's doing better. I’m grateful to have found something that work for her and encourages her to be more positive. I would recomment this for any family that has teenage girls.
