I love this series.
This is a really engaging story. A rich world with lots of wonderful well rounded and interesting characters. I'm looking forward to hearing more.

Loved it
Very enjoyable. Lighthearted romp witty. Am getting through this series really fast. Probably aimed at a certain demographic…( a woman of a certain age) but still it was fun, give it a try.

Best one so far!
So glad I stuck with this series as got better and better and now can’t wait for forth book!! Yeah the Heroine can be slightly annoying with her hormones but still good fun and worth a credit all day long!

The best one in the series!
I could not wait to listen to Mid life Demon hunter to discover what adventure awaits for our heroine and I think this is the best in the series so far! The character development is good and my firm favourite leading man is Robert. what a mysterious character and I can't wait to find out more about him.
The narrator is brilliant and the same as the other books in this series so it's great to have the consistency. The story telling made me laugh out loud, cringe, shout and flustered so I would highly recommend this book and this series. cliff hanger ending though? really?! Hurry up with the next book!

Wit grit and whiskey
Another action packed instalment of the Forty Proof series. Bree and her crew take on the demons goblins and the council with their usual wit grit and sarcasm. The story is beautifully narrated by Lauren Fortang who definitely adds an extra dimension to the whole cast of characters.

So good!
Can't believe how quickly I finished this one. I said I would be a good girl and make it last. But nope, its just not possible with a Shannon book. Be ready for an emotional rollercoaster. Bree is getting even deeper into the wprkings of the shadow world and I am here for it! Highly recommend.

Love this series
Breena has been kicked out of the Hollows group and loan sharks keep knocking at her door . She has to figure out how her ex pushed all his debts onto her along with dealing with a lovesick Bigfoot and a menopausal siren , life is never straightforward for Breena . Another fabulous book to the series and eagerly awaiting the next book.

Great!!
Just how many times can someone get into trouble.....
With Bree the answer is, a LOOOOOOOT!!
And I mean a lot.
In this book we've got all sorts going on.
Goblins, demons, ghosts and again, the damn council!! Just what is a woman to do??
Swoon over all the man candy that's what. But even that doesn't prevent everything going wrong. While out meeting with a prospective client, Bree comes across some ghosts in the hotel and finds out that she's a!so got vampire somewhere. The problem is, who is the vampire and where is it??
With the book is the audio book. I personally like to read AND listen to my books.
Try it.....it help brings all of the characters in a book to life and really giving those personalities a push off the page. The person narrating is yet again Lauren Fortgang and brilliant is not enough, but for now it will have to do. Believe me, both book and audio are highly recommended 🙉🙉
