About this listen
As the daughter of Dracula, you would think I’d be born the perfect monster.
You couldn’t be more wrong.
As far as monsters go, I’m a screw up—if I’m not tripping over my own feet, I’m accidentally murdering someone (it’s a real issue, guys).
Left with no choice, Dad decides to send me to Prodigium—otherwise known as Monster Academy—to train me on how to be a better monster.
When bodies turn up on campus, I’m the prime suspect (not that I can blame them. I’ll be pretty suspicious, too, if bodies drained of blood show up right after Dracula’s daughter arrives).
With the help of my mortal-nemesis Vin, Van Helsing’s son
Frankie, Frankenstein’s son
Mason, Medusa’s son
And Jack (sometimes Hux), Dr. Jekyll’s son
I might have a chance of uncovering the truth.
If I’m not murdered first.
The struggles of being a vampire, am I right?
This is a horror comedy reverse harem with some dark elements. After all, you can’t have a bunch of monsters without some darkness. This is book one of a series.

Ok but!!
Violet is Dracula's daughter. He sends her to Prodigium Academy for school where she is hated because she's Dracula's daughter and she learns she has quite a few mates which is unusual. Now I'm writing this review after listening to all four books and the one thing that has driven me mad is the internal monologue is way over done. It's one of my pet hates, I understand that you need monologue in books but when 98% of a chapter is monologue and not conversation and takes two chapters to finish a conversation, It's like the author has to fill the book up with nonsense and stuff that's completely unnecessary to the story. Bridget and Jake did a fantastic job.

Monsters
This is the first book in the Prodigium Academy series. Violet is the daughter of the famous Dracula. She is kind of clumsy for a monster. She arrives at Prodigium Academy and finally starts to make a friend. However someone is trying to frame her for murders at the school. She has four guys that will do anything to protect her. Loved this book can’t wait to see what happens next. Bridget and Jake Bordeaux did a phenomenal job narrating in duet style.

Utter brilliance!
Where to begin with this book…. Love a good RH, slow burn to allow for the story to unfold which is amazing! This is about the kids of the known monsters…. Love the spin on their names and well just take a listen it’s so worth your time…. Bring on book 2!
Jake and Bridget bring life to these monsters, the accents and are just phenomenal …. Great job!
