About this listen
For 25 years, Moonstone Lake has hosted a Christmas Festival of Light. They have crafters and food trucks from every state. This year was their biggest, with over 200 crafters and 20 food trucks.
It usually runs from the 15th of December to New Year’s Day. This year is different. Before the celebration begins, there is a murder inside the motel room of one of the crafters. There is no way to connect the women in the room to the dead man. The investigation takes a turn when a sniper begins to pick off citizens from rooftops.
Arizona is asked to take the official photographs for the event. As she walks around the grounds, she spies a woman in a long red cloak and a hood tight against her face. She doesn’t show up in the pictures Arizona takes.
Aunt Sandy becomes a target of the sniper. Nutmeg preforms a rescue and helps capture the murderer, once again proving she is as intelligent as some people, Arizona finds out who her birth mother is and why her adoption remained a secret for so many years.
Come along with us on another adventure in Moonstone Lake.

Superb Cozie mystery.
A very enjoyable short Cozie mystery. This is the first Susan Keene I have listened to but I certainly hope it won't be the last. Although short at around 6 hours it is action packed from start to finish with a great cast of likeable characters. Arizona Summers the main character ably assisted by her small dog nutmeg has to solve the mystery of who is killing some of the townsfolk and just as importantly why? Jennifer Darnell does a superb job of the narration and helps bring the whole story to life. As well as more books by the author I hope to listen to more of Jennifers work in the future. Well worth it's 5 star rating.
I was kindly given a promo copy of the book by the narrator and voluntarily leave this honest review.
